How do I wire a Mini-Roller™ or Vertical Mini-Roller™ rotation sensor?
The Mini-Roller™rotation sensor is actually a reed switch, which provides a dry contact signal when a magnetic field passes by and closes the contact.
Despite there being three wires in the cable, only the black and blue wires should be wired to a controller. The brown wire is not connected to anything in the switch, so it should not be used.
If you’re wiring the Mini-Roller™rotation sensor to a SmartFlow®controller, it should be connected as shown below:
